Test planispiral, bilaterally symmetrical, chambers numerous, septa double and sutures fissured in dendritic pattern, umbilical region with fissured umbilical mass, wall calcareous, lamellar and radially fibrous, perforate; aperture a series of pores in somewhat protruding apertural plate In interiomarginal position, plate being resorbed when next chamber forms, leaving equatorial interiomarginal slitlike
foramen.
