Description
Test free, elongate, cylindrical, consisting of bulbous proloculus and long tubular second chamber generally somewhat smaller than proloculus in diameter, wall agglutinated, commonly of angular quartz fragments with small amount of calcareous or ferruginous cement, aperture terminal, rounded, constricted. [Hyperammina differs from Hippoerepina in being more coarsely agglutinated and in having an inflated base and narrowed later portion.]
