Description

Test free, elongate, uniserial, compressed, commonly with median longitudinal depression which in slightly tangential sections gives pseudobiserial appearance; chambers broad, low, arched as in Lingulina or Frondicularia; wall calcareous, with microgranular inner layer and radially striate outer layer; aperture terminal. rounded to ovate.
