Description
Shell large, inflated-fusiform to ellipsoidal, wall thick, composed of tectum and alveolar keriotheca, alveoli to base of septula, one transverse septulum to each foramen, reaching parachomata adjacent to septa, as many as 3 axial septula between septa (*954. *1287, *1922, *1955).
